Bananaman Exclusive Taster at MCM LONDON COMIC CON

On the 28th October, some of the Bananaman Cast and Creatives took the MCM London Comic Con by storm.

MCM (Movies, Comics and Media) Comic Con events are huge conventions that attract fans in their hundreds of thousands. The London Comic Con takes place twice a year at the famous London ExCeL centre. It is a three-day pop culture extravaganza featuring everything from comics, movies, games and sci-fi to cosplay, anime, steampunk and online video. 

Our cast performed a medley of song snippets to excite the crowd (lovingly named 'Bananasplit' by our Musical Supervisor Alan Berry and our Musical Director Mal Hall). Afterwards director Mark Perry, Associate Director and Choreographer Grant Murphy, MD Mal Hall and Designer Mike Leopold answered questions on the inception and creation of Bananaman The Musical, sharing stories of how the idea first came about, through to exciting details about the upcoming world premiere at the Southwark Playhouse on December 15th 2017.
